Racing Incident Report
MAGIC TEMPLE was slow to muster speed. On jumping, ONE STEP AHEAD was bumped by BLISS STAR which shifted out. Shortly after the start, KINGFIELD was steadied when crowded for room inside NOBLE MAN which got its head on the side and shifted in abruptly. Near the 1100 Metres, MAGIC TEMPLE, which was being shifted in to obtain a position with cover, was steadied away from the heels of TAKING THE LEAD. In the middle stages, LUCKY WINNER raced three wide and without cover, then making the turn at the 600 Metres hung out. Making the Home Turn, BLISS STAR became unbalanced and bumped the running rail when racing tight inside FLYING SPRINTER. Near the 250 Metres, BLISS STAR got its head on the side and shifted in. After the 200 Metres, BLISS STAR was steadied when crowded for room between LASER POWER which was improving on its inside and FLYING SPRINTER (H K Yim) which shifted in when not properly clear whilst being ridden out despite hanging in. H K Yim was severely reprimanded and told in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mount. In this incident, some inconvenience was also caused to LASER POWER. Over the concluding stages, GUNG HO hung in. B Prebble (LASER POWER) said following the horse receiving some inconvenience when racing inside BLISS STAR after the 200 Metres LASER POWER was then through its inexperience somewhat reluctant to improve on the inside of FLYING SPRINTER in the run to the line. LASER POWER was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. LUCKY WINNER was sent for an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of LASER POWER and LUCKY WINNER after the race did not show any significant findings. NOBLE MAN and AMO were sent for sampling.
