Racing Incident Report
As the gates opened, BEST LUCK put its head down and was slow to begin. DELIGHTFUL WIN was slow to begin. With the intention of being ridden in a rearward position from the outside gate, SANZIRO was immediately steadied and shifted across behind runners. Near the 700 Metres, NOBLE SILENCE, which was proving difficult to settle, got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of HAIL THE STORM. In the middle stages, DON RICARDO hung out badly and shifted wider on the track. Before being allowed to race again, DON RICARDO will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend. Near the 300 Metres, SANZIRO was steadied and shifted to the outside of DELIGHTFUL WIN to continue going forward. Passing the 200 Metres, HAIL THE STORM got its head on the side and was inclined to hang out. TCHAIKOVSKY, HAIL THE STORM and SHARKI were sent for sampling. The Veterinary Officer reported that the urine sample provide by TCHAIKOVSKY following the running of this race contained blood. Before being allowed to race again, TCHAIKOVSKY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
