Racing Incident Report

SUPER IDEAL began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped LUCKY KING. Shortly after this, SUPER IDEAL was steadied when crowded for room between LUCKY KING and GREENESSY. SPINNING CITY began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of SEASONS KNACK. ROYAL FALCON began awkwardly and bumped the inside gate of its stall, causing O Doleuze, its rider, to become unbalanced. From the outside gate, BRILLIANT FLASH was immediately taken back across behind runners. In the early stages, GREENESSY proved difficult to settle. In the middle stages, SPINNING CITY hung out. Near the 200 Metres, LUCKY KING had difficulty obtaining clear running between LUCKY CHAMPION and HAPPY CRUSADER. Near the 100 Metres, PERFECT MISSION and CLASSA VICTORY were steadied when crowded for room between LUCKY CHAMPION which shifted out slightly and NOBLE HEART which got its head on the side and shifted in. Shortly after this, CLASSA VICTORY was steadied away from the heels of LUCKY KING which shifted out. Over the concluding stages when giving ground, THE KING hung out. In the Straight, PERFECT MISSION hung in. Throughout the race, HAPPY CRUSADER raced wide and without cover. THE KING was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of THE KING after the race did not show any significant findings. PICTURE PERFECT, GREENESSY and NOBLE HEART were sent for sampling. After the race, A Delpech reported SUPER IDEAL was not striding out freely. The horse was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said there were no significant findings.
