Racing Incident Report

BOREAS was slow to begin. PULL NO PUNCH began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped with RAINBOW EXPRESS which shifted out after making contact with GANBARIA. In the early stages, RAINBOW EXPRESS raced greenly and making the turn at the 800 Metres got its head on the side and hung out. FEBURO hung out making the turn at the 800 Metres. WONDERFUL BLESSING made the turn at the 800 Metres awkwardly and hung out. At the 700 Metres, after making contact with BOREAS, MAVERICK shifted out abruptly across the heels of GANBARIA and came into contact with FEBURO, causing both horses to become badly unbalanced and shift wider on the track. Near the 600 Metres, LUCKY UNICORN endeavoured to shift out to take a narrow run between FLAG FINDER and TIGER STORM which was inclined to lay out. TIGER STORM held its line and as a result LUCKY UNICORN was steadied when disappointed for this run. Making the Home Turn, SUPER SPECIAL hung out. On straightening, RAINBOW EXPRESS was awkwardly placed close to the heels of GANBARIA. After the 200 Metres, GANBARIA shifted in, obliging Y T Cheng, its rider, to stop riding and straighten. In the Straight, FEBURO hung out. FEBURO was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of FEBURO after the race did not show any significant findings. LUCKY UNICORN and GANBARIA were sent for sampling.
