Racing Incident Report
As the gates opened, SHOGUN sat back, then bounded in the air on jumping and consequently was slow to begin. MOVE IT and REWARDING KING were slow to begin. OUR JET, which had drawn a wide gate, began awkwardly, bumped the inside gate of its stall and then made contact with HONOUR SUPREME. As a consequence of this, OUR JET was slow to muster speed and was taken back to a position behind SUN POWER with cover. Making the turn at the 1000 Metres, REWARDING KING, which had been inclined to lay in, was shifted out away from the fence and was checked to avoid the heels of MOVE IT. After entering the Back Straight, ALWAYS WELCOME was steadied away from the heels of BILLET EXPRESS. At the 800 Metres, OUR JET got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of SUN POWER. Making the Home Turn, REWARDING KING was steadied when close to the heels of MOVE IT. Over the concluding stages, OUR JET hung in and proved difficult to ride. SHOGUN was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. ARABIAN WAGER was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SHOGUN and ARABIAN WAGER after the race did not show any significant findings. BILLET EXPRESS and EVERY TIME were sent for sampling.
