Racing Incident Report

CALIFORNIA HEART after being fractious in the gates began awkwardly, bounded in the air and on landing knuckled. Because of this, G Mossé, its rider, lost the use of his right side stirrup iron for a short distance. As a result of this, CALIFORNIA HEART lost a significant amount of ground. Before being allowed to race again, CALIFORNIA HEART will have to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. FOURSQUARE began awkwardly, bumped the inside gate of its stall, then shortly afterwards was checked when crowded for room between HAPPY KID and EVER MORE which on jumping shifted in abruptly. SOUTHERN LIGHT began awkwardly and lost ground. Near the 400 Metres, SOUTHERN LIGHT raced tight inside ENRICHING. When under pressure, GOLDEN FARM hung in and after the 200 Metres shifted ground, causing some inconvenience to DON FELIPE. Over the concluding stages, LOTZATOW and FOURSQUARE hung in. EVER MORE and CALIFORNIA HEART were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of EVER MORE and CALIFORNIA HEART after the race did not show any significant findings. FIRM OFFER and BULB KING were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported by the Veterinary Surgeon that PERFETTO had lost two temporary teeth.
