Racing Incident Report

KE JIA WANG began awkwardly. On jumping, COTTON BALL was bumped by HK ISLAND VICTORY which shifted in. As a result, COTTON BALL became unbalanced. Shortly after this, COTTON BALL was steadied away from the heels of HK ISLAND VICTORY which shifted further. KING PALM was slow to begin, then was crowded for room between A-TACK and SUPER, both of which shifted ground. JOYFUL WORLD began awkwardly, resulting in B Prebble, its rider, becoming unbalanced. After the 600 Metres, A-TACK was momentarily crowded for room between KE JIA WANG and LUCKY DANSKE which shifted out slightly. After this, A-TACK hung out badly and was checked to avoid the heels of KE JIA WANG. Making the turn after the 600 Metres and particularly making the Home Turn, LUCKY DANSKE hung out. WIKI WIKI made the turn after the 600 Metres awkwardly and hung out. Prior to straightening, COTTON BALL was checked and shifted out away from the heels of SUPER. Just prior to straightening, B Prebble dropped his whip. Approaching and passing the 200 Metres, WIKI WIKI got its head on the side and hung in when awkwardly placed inside FLYING SPRINTER. Prior to the winning post, KING PALM was bumped by LUCKY DANSKE which itself shifted in after being crowded for room and bumped by HORACE'S HORSE which shifted in slightly. B Prebble explained near the 100 Metres he shifted his mount which was only closing the race off fairly out in an attempt to obtain a run between HK ISLAND VICTORY which was giving ground and WIKI WIKI. He said when he did this, initially a run had presented itself, however, shortly afterwards WIKI WIKI commenced to shift in and as a result he was unable to improve into that run. He said WIKI WIKI continued to shift in gradually in the run to the line and as a consequence he was not able to ride JOYFUL WORLD out to the end of the race as he normally would. FLYING SPRINTER and LUCKY DANSKE were sent for sampling. After the race, it was noted that HK ISLAND VICTORY had lost its right front plate.
