Racing Incident Report
When the gates opened, WINNING RONGRONG bounded in the air, lost ground, was then steadied and taken across behind runners to a position close to the rail but near the rear. ZERUBBABEL was slow to muster speed and shortly after the start was crowded for room inside GOOD TRIO which got its head on the side and shifted in. Just prior to straightening, WINNING RONGRONG was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of DASHING THUNDER which itself was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of TRAVIANO. Near the 100 Metres, WINNING RONGRONG was steadied when awkwardly placed between ZERUBBABEL and GOOD TRIO which when giving ground was carried out slightly by KONRAD THE GREAT. No action was taken. HARVEY MUDD, SIXTY SECONDS and SEASONS TREASURE were sent for sampling. An inquiry into the reasons for DASHING THUNDER being checked passing the 200 Metres and again near the 100 Metres was adjourned until prior to the first race at Sha Tin Racecourse next Saturday 30 October 2004.
