Racing Incident Report
AMBITION was slow to begin. CLASSA FOR EVER began awkwardly, got its head up and lost ground. At the 800 Metres, HAPI HAPI was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of EVER MORE. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, HAPI HAPI, which was having its first start in blinkers tonight, got its head up, commenced to hang out badly, shifted ground and was checked to avoid the heels of SUPREMACY. When HAPI HAPI hung out and was checked, GRANDWAY SHUTTLE and ABLE EAGLE were both severely hampered and carried wider on the track and THE WORLD OF LOVE was checked and shifted in. AMBITION was also hampered in this incident. Before being permitted to race again, HAPI HAPI will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Near the 100 Metres, O Doleuze (ABLE EAGLE) dropped his whip. Just prior to the winning post, EVER MORE was steadied away from the heels of WISHMASTER which shifted in slightly. Because of this, EVER MORE was not ridden out to the line as it normally would be. HAPI HAPI was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of HAPI HAPI after the race did not show any significant findings. CLASSA FOR EVER and WISHMASTER were sent for sampling.
