Racing Incident Report
ROMANTIC SYMPHONY and KAISER'S PRIZE were slow to begin. On jumping, FAVOURITE EXPRESS was bumped by UPBEAT which shifted out. As a result of this, FAVOURITE EXPRESS shifted ground and bumped EVER SUCCESS which became unbalanced. NIGHT NINJA began awkwardly and shortly after the start was steadied away from the heels of EVER SUCCESS when that horse became unbalanced. Near the 900 Metres, when FAVOURITE EXPRESS improved on its outside, WINNING POWER commenced to over-race, ran up onto the heels of UPBEAT and was checked. EVERY TIME, which was following, was steadied in consequence. In the middle stages, EVER SUCCESS, which was racing wide and without cover, hung out. On straightening, SUPER CHARGE was held up and unable to improve between GREAT ACHIEVEMENT and UPBEAT. Shortly after the 400 Metres, SUPER CHARGE was steadied and shifted to the outside of UPBEAT into clear running. GREAT ACHIEVEMENT and NIGHT NINJA were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of GREAT ACHIEVEMENT and NIGHT NINJA after the race did not show any significant findings. EVERY TIME, WINNING POWER and SUPER CHARGE were sent for sampling.
