Racing Incident Report
LUCKY CHAMPION began awkwardly, bumped the hindquarters of TRIUMPH and lost ground. Shortly after this, LUCKY CHAMPION was steadied when crowded for room between DASHING THUNDER and TRIUMPH which at this time got its head on the side and shifted in. As a consequence of these incidents, LUCKY CHAMPION got well back. On jumping, MODERN PROSPECT and BETTER BOY bumped. On jumping, GOODWOOD stumbled. Also on jumping, MAGICAL LOT was bumped by HAPPY HEROES which shifted in abruptly. Shortly after straightening, DOUBLE HAPPINESS was bumped by LUCKY CHAMPION which was shifting to the outside of DR WELL to obtain clear running. At the 200 Metres, DOUBLE HAPPINESS was momentarily steadied when crowded for room between BETTER BOY which shifted in slightly and LUCKY CHAMPION which at this time got its head on the side and shifted out. DR WELL was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of DR WELL after the race did not show any significant findings. BETTER BOY and LUCKY CHAMPION were sent for sampling.
