Racing Incident Report
After arriving at the Start, HARVEY MUDD, which had made contact with the rail in the Parade Ring, was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and after the necessary consultations was considered suitable to race. WHATABOB and BRILLIANT EXPRESS were slow to begin. MAJOR BEE began awkwardly and bumped the inside gate of its stall. REAL PARTNER began awkwardly, then shortly afterwards was steadied when crowded for room between GREAT WIN which shifted out and GLOBE MARK which after stumbling on jumping shifted in. Near the 700 Metres, REAL PARTNER was steadied and shifted to the inside of BRILLIANT EXPRESS which at that time was shifting out. Near the 400 Metres, SUPER PRINCE was steadied and shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of MAJOR BEE which throughout the race had hung in. GREAT WIN and TRIUMPHANT UNICORN were sent for sampling. K S Yu (HEALTHY FRUITS) reported the horse became unbalanced near the 300 Metres and as he was concerned with the horse's action, he did not ride it out to the end of the race as he normally would.
