Racing Incident Report

MONEY STRONG, which was to be ridden in a forward position, began awkwardly and as a result lost ground. On jumping, SIGHT FIRST stumbled and shifted out, this caused crowding to BUDDIES POWER and DESERT HERO which in turn bumped NOBLE ZOOM. Approaching the winning post the first time, RAINBOW DIAMOND hung in, then near the 1300 Metres was steadied and shifted back behind MONEY STRONG to a position on the rail. After this, RAINBOW DIAMOND continued to hang in for the remainder of the race. Near the 1100 Metres, MONEY STRONG was awkwardly placed inside the heels of KID GALAXY. At the 800 Meters, MONEY STRONG was checked away from the heels of SIGHT FIRST which steadied in front away from the heels of NOBLE ZOOM. After the 600 Metres, SAMMY TREASURE, which had been racing wide, was carried wider when MR BEAUTIFUL commenced to improve around AURELIAN. After the 200 Metres, RAINBOW DIAMOND was steadied and shifted out around the heels of ELETTARIN, then shifted further to the outside of NOBLE ZOOM. Throughout the race, KID GALAXY raced three wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. DESERT HERO, which finished distanced, was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. A veterinary examination of DESERT HERO after the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of DESERT HERO was considered unacceptable. Before being permitted to race again, DESERT HERO will have to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SAMMY TREASURE was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. A veterinary examination of SAMMY TREASURE after the race did not show any significant findings. BUDDIES POWER and RAINBOW DIAMOND were sent for sampling.
