Racing Incident Report

On jumping, SUNNY RIVIERA was crowded for room between PERPETUAL PLEASURE and SUPER IDEAL, both of which shifted ground. SURE FIT began awkwardly and got its head up. After the 1200 Metres, due mainly to the pace, PERPETUAL PLEASURE, MILLENNIUM SPIRIT, STOIC and GREAT SENSATION proved difficult to settle. At the 600 Metres, SUPER WONGCHOY was momentarily crowded for room by SUNNY RIVIERA which shifted in slightly when improving. Making the Home Turn, SUPER IDEAL hung out. Making the Home Turn and in the early part of the Straight, STOIC was held up and unable to obtain clear running when racing behind AURELIAN. After straightening, STOIC was shifted to the outside of SUPER IDEAL into clear running. At the 300 Metres, GREAT SENSATION was disappointed for running between ON THE TEE and GLORIOUS LIGHT. After this, GREAT SENSATION was shifted to the inside of ON THE TEE, then over the final 100 Metres was again steadied when disappointed for running on this occasion between ON THE TEE which shifted in slightly and LUCKY SUPERSTAR which when giving ground got its head on the side and shifted out. Because of this, GREAT SENSATION was not ridden to the line as it normally would be. Approaching and passing the 200 Metres, DIAMOND MOON was held up and unable to obtain clear running between STOIC and LUCKY SUPERSTAR. SUPER IDEAL, SUNNY RIVIERA and SURE FIT were sent for sampling.
