Racing Incident Report
CHIU CHOW HERO began awkwardly and shifted in abruptly. CHAMPION BOY stood flat-footed and was slow to begin. ABLE MARS and NIGHT HUNTER II began awkwardly and consequently lost ground at the start. In the early stages, WIN FORTUNE was hard ridden to go forward, was unable to cross runners to his inside and consequently raced three wide and without cover throughout. Also throughout the race, WIN FORTUNE hung in and in the Straight when giving ground proved difficult to ride. After the 800 Metres, FAIRWAY FINDER was tightened for room inside FANTASTIC STAR which had its head on the side and shifted in. On straightening, NOBLE ZOOM was steadied and shifted to the inside of FAIRWAY FINDER to obtain clear running. After the 400 Metres, ABLE MARS was steadied when disappointed for running between WIN FORTUNE which was hanging in and FAIRWAY FINDER which shifted out. Then after the 200 Metres, ABLE MARS was again steadied when disappointed for running between NOBLE ZOOM and WIN FORTUNE which when giving ground shifted in while hanging. At the 200 Metres, NOBLE ZOOM was steadied when disappointed for running between PERFECT SCORE which was giving ground and FAIRWAY FINDER which shifted in slightly. For some distance after the 200 Metres, CHAMPION BOY was held up and unable to obtain clear running behind GLOBAL POWER and PERFECT SCORE which were giving ground. After the 100 Metres, FAIRWAY FINDER shifted in. Because of this, A Marcus stopped riding and straightened. In the Straight, ADVANCE AHEAD hung out. WIN FORTUNE was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. A veterinary examination of WIN FORTUNE after the race did not show any significant findings. FANTASTIC STAR and CASH KING were sent for sampling. After the race, GLOBAL POWER was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said an endoscopic examination showed a significant amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being permitted to race again, GLOBAL POWER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
