Racing Incident Report
When the gates opened, ABLE MARSHALL bounded in the air, lost ground and shortly afterwards was steadied when crowded for room between PACIFIC ALLIANCE and SERIOUS PLAY. SUCCESSIVE GAINS began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of SPARKY, causing both horses to become unbalanced. At the 1200 Metres, LUCKY STALLION got its head on the side, shifted in and bumped DASHING CHAMPION. In the early and middle stages, SPARKY travelled three wide and without cover and then after the 700 Metres went forward and crossed to race outside the leader. At the 600 Metres, SERIOUS PLAY was awkwardly placed inside the heels of SUPER GOAL STRIKER. For some distance after the 100 Metres, COMMANDER CHARLIE was held up and unable to obtain clear running between SPARKY and PACIFIC ALLIANCE. DASHING CHAMPION, ACROBATIC and PALETTE NATURAL were sent for sampling.
