Racing Incident Report
The start of the race was delayed as EASY RECEIPT proved difficult to load. Before being allowed to race again, EASY RECEIPT will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. JOYFUL STAR and FRUITFUL TRIP were slow to begin. On jumping, OPTIC DYNAMIC blundered. Then shortly afterwards, OPTIC DYNAMIC and FORTUNE TONE were severely checked when crowded for room between BURST TO VICTORY and CYBER GULCH which was taken out by LUCK AND FORTUNE which on jumping shifted out abruptly. FORTUNE TONE made the first turn awkwardly and got its head up on a number of occasions. Near the 100 Metres, WIN FORTUNE became unbalanced and shifted out. Throughout the race, CYBER GULCH raced wide and without cover. JOYFUL STAR was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. A veterinary examination of JOYFUL STAR after the race did not show any significant findings. BURST TO VICTORY was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. After the race, BURST TO VICTORY was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said an endoscopic examination showed a significant amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, BURST TO VICTORY will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. WIN FORTUNE and LUCK AND FORTUNE were sent for sampling. Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that NAOMERIC TE SPECSO was showing signs of mild heat stress.
