Racing Incident Report

SUPRA SMART KID began awkwardly and got its head up. JUSTINIAN was a little slow to begin, then shifted in, bumped the hindquarters of WHATA FEELING and shortly afterwards clipped the heels of that horse when crowded by FANTASTIC HORSE which shifted in. In the early stages, JUSTINIAN proved difficult to settle. Near the 1300 Metres, FANTASTIC HORSE was steadied when momentarily crowded for room by TRIUMPH (C Williams) which shifted in slightly. C Williams was advised to exercise more care. After this, FANTASTIC HORSE shifted out in an endeavour to find clear running and go forward and in doing so carried MANSFIELD STAR wider. After this, MANSFIELD STAR travelled wide and without cover for the remainder of the race. Near the 1000 Metres, BOXING DAY was steadied away from the heels of PRIZES TREASURE which shifted in when only just clear. In the middle stages, SURE FORTUNE was inclined to lay out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of WHATA FEELING. At the 300 Metres, JUSTINIAN was steadied and shifted out when disappointed for running between BOXING DAY which was giving ground and SUPER IDEAL. Near the winning post, MANSFIELD STAR was inconvenienced outside the heels of MY CHOICE and because of this was not ridden right to the line as it normally would be. MIRACLES, MY CHOICE and PRIZES TREASURE were sent for sampling.
