Racing Incident Report

KING OF GAROUPA was slow to begin. HAPPY YEARS began awkwardly with its head up. CHINA WORLD was a little slow to begin and then was crowded for room between JOYFUL MASTER and VILLAGER, both of which shifted ground. At the 800 Metres, MANIFEST got its head up when being steadied to avoid the heels of BACK SEAT DRIVER (A Marcus) which shifted in when barely clear. A Marcus was reprimanded and told to ensure he is properly clear of runners before shifting ground. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, NAOMERIC TE SPECSO hung out. After the 600 Metres, MANIFEST hung out. This caused inconvenience to VILLAGER and JOYFUL MASTER, both of which were carried wider. At the 100 Metres, VILLAGER, which was giving ground, was steadied when momentarily crowded by JOYFUL MASTER. In the Straight, SUPER CHARGE was held up and unable to obtain clear running behind BACK SEAT DRIVER and inside MANIFEST. Because of this, SUPER CHARGE was not properly tested. VILLAGER was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, VILLAGER was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No significant findings were made. SUPER CHARGE, HAPPY YEARS and MANIFEST were sent for sampling.
