Racing Incident Report

On jumping, ABLE EAGLE bounded in the air. Also on jumping, POSEIDON got its head up, shifted out and was steadied away from the heels of OSCAR STAR. HOT PRACTITIONER was slow to begin. AMBITION was a little slow to begin. From a gate towards the outside, DONGGUAN VICTORY was immediately steadied and shifted across behind runners close to the rail. Near the 1100 Metres, HOT PRACTITIONER blundered after clipping the heels of ABLE EAGLE which was taken in slightly by LUCKY ENCOUNTER which got its head on the side and shifted in when racing tight inside WINNING SUNSHINE. The occurrence in the opinion of the Stewards was accidental. At the 1000 Metres, KING CONFIDENT was steadied when tightened for room inside LUCKY MASTER which was taken in when WINNING SUNSHINE improved into a run on its outside and to the inside of HIGHLAND LEGEND which shifted in slightly. In the circumstances, no action was taken. At the 800 Metres, AMBITION got its head up and shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of LUCKY ENCOUNTER. Prior to straightening, HOT PRACTITIONER was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of KING CONFIDENT. This caused inconvenience on its outside to LUCKY ENCOUNTER and AMBITION. Shortly after straightening, LUCKY ENCOUNTER was carried wider and bumped by HOT PRACTITIONER when HOT PRACTITIONER was shifting out to obtain clear running. Over the concluding stages, FORTUNE BUILDER shifted in. This caused some crowding on its inside to AMBITION and ABLE EAGLE. AMBITION, FORTUNE BUILDER and WINNING SUNSHINE were sent for sampling.
