Racing Incident Report

EPIC ENTERPRISE and V-CAN bounded in the air at the start. At the 800 Metres, EPIC ENTERPRISE was steadied and shifted out when crowded for room between KIMBERLEY MINES and AMBITIOUS LEADER which was carried in slightly by JOY FAY FAY. This incident in the opinion of the Stewards was accidental. At the 300 Metres, MARANELLO was momentarily steadied when crowded for room by GALLANT KNIGHT which was taken in slightly by CROCKER which got its head on the side and was inclined to lay in. After the 300 Metres, HIDDEN DRAGON became unbalanced after being brushed by SILENT WITNESS. At the 200 Metres, V-CAN was steadied and shifted to the outside of CROCKER to go forward. Throughout the race, SILENT WITNESS got its head on the side and hung in. E Saint-Martin (KIMBERLEY MINES) explained at about the 500 Metres when he was racing towards the inside of AMBITIOUS LEADER and behind CROCKER, he elected to steady his mount and shift to the outside of AMBITIOUS LEADER to provide his mount with uninterrupted running. He said he did this as KIMBERLEY MINES was racing in restricted room and in his opinion it was going to be difficult to obtain a clear run to the line. SILENT WITNESS and HIDDEN DRAGON were sent for sampling.
