Racing Incident Report

JOYFUL STAR and JUSTINIAN were slow to begin. QUICK NEWS began awkwardly, stumbled, shifted out and bumped FAMOUS BRAND which in turn shifted ground and bumped BRILLIANT ATTORNEY. At the 800 Metres, ENERGETIC PRINCE lost its position when crowded for room by EUPHORIC KID which was carried in by CAPITAL GAIN (E Saint-Martin) which got its head on the side and shifted ground. In the circumstances, it was decided no direct action should be taken, however, E Saint-Martin was told to make sure he did his utmost to leave sufficient racing room to runners on his inside. On straightening, EUPHORIC KID, which had been held up for a short distance, was steadied away from the heels of JUSTINIAN. After the 300 Metres, ENERGETIC PRINCE was shifted to the outside of JOYFUL MASTER to obtain running and go forward. Approaching the winning post, EUPHORIC KID was steadied to avoid the heels of CAPITAL GAIN which shifted in. E Saint-Martin was advised to exercise more care. DANDY BUNNY and CAPITAL GAIN were sent for sampling.
