Racing Incident Report
On leaving the Parade Ring, SEA CORAL shifted abruptly and made contact with a rail. After arriving at the Start, the horse was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and following the necessary consultations was passed suitable to race. REFRESHINGLY was slowly away. A RUN OF LUCK left the gates awkwardly and threw its head up. On jumping, SAI KUNG STAR and SIMON'S DECISION came together. In the early stages, RIVER OF CHINA hung in. After the 200 Metres, A RUN OF LUCK was steadied when inconvenienced by RIVER OF CHINA which shifted out abruptly away from REFRESHINGLY. At about the same time, SUPER BOLD RACER was disappointed for running between A RUN OF LUCK and RIVER OF CHINA. Throughout the race, SEA CORAL hung in and proved difficult to ride. SEA CORAL was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, SEA CORAL was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No abnormalities were detected. PRINCESS BEAUTY, HONOUR GRADE and APRIL HARE were sent for sampling. After the race, it was noted SUPER BOLD RACER was bleeding from both nostrils.
