Racing Incident Report

After being boxed, ZERUBBABEL became fractious and reared several times, then throughout the race hung out. Before ZERUBBABEL can race again, it must perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. MEMBERS GLORY left the gates awkwardly, shifted in and bumped STAR OF TAI PO. Just after this, MEMBERS GLORY was checked when APPLIED SUPREME left the gates awkwardly with its head turned out and shifted in abruptly. OH GREAT was slowly away. About the 1000 Metres, SUPER SUCCESS, which was pulling and proving very difficult to settle, shifted out abruptly from behind APPLIED SUPREME. This obliged STAR OF TAI PO, which was also pulling, to shift away from a position behind LASER GLORY. When STAR OF TAI PO was obliged to shift out at about the 1000 Metres, MEMBERS GLORY also shifted ground. This resulted in YACHT MASTER, which was already travelling wide, being obliged to race wider and without cover. About the 400 Metres, SUPER SUCCESS shifted out and bumped GOLD CHARM. After the 200 Metres, THE RICH MAN, which was giving ground, was steadied when crowded for room between STAR OF TAI PO which shifted out slightly and MEMBERS GLORY which was taken in by YACHT MASTER which shifted in away from DANDY BUNNY. MEMBERS GLORY, DANDY BUNNY and UNIVERSAL STAR were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that SUPER SUCCESS had lost its left front plate.
