Racing Incident Report
LOK WAH TREASURE came from the gates awkwardly, then in the run to the line was inclined to shift ground. GOLDEN DUKE was slowly away. About the 1400 Metres, YACHT MASTER got its head on the side and shifted in away from MONEY COLT which was racing towards the front. As a consequence of YACHT MASTER shifting ground, some inconvenience was caused to MAJESTIC WARRIOR and SPRINTER. No action was taken. Near the 800 Metres, STRAIGHT WIN and YACHT MASTER came together due to STRAIGHT WIN endeavouring to shift away from the rail. Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, SPRINTER hung out. SPEEDY FORWARD, which was reluctant to stretch out at any time, was tailed off. The performance of the horse therefore was considered by the Stewards to be unacceptable. Before SPEEDY FORWARD can race again, it will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. SPRINTER was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
