Racing Incident Report

MILLENNIUM DAWN jumped a little awkwardly, shifted out and bumped ALBELA. On jumping, ILIKETOSMILE shifted in and brushed the hindquarters of ALBELA. Also on jumping, from an outside gate, GUSCOTT was steadied and shifted across behind the field to take up a position nearer the rail but towards the rear. Near the winning post the first time, PEARL AND GOLD became unbalanced when close to the heels of MILLENNIUM DAWN. In the early stages, MILLENNIUM DAWN hung out. About the 1000 Metres, ILIKETOSMILE became unbalanced when being checked to avoid the heels of NOBLE BOY (L Dettori) which shifted in when not clear. L Dettori was reprimanded and told he is expected to exercise far more care when shifting ground. Approaching the 200 Metres, WISHES was disappointed for running between ILIKETOSMILE and MILLENNIUM DAWN. After the 200 Metres, WISHES was steadied and shifted in to improve between MILLENNIUM DAWN and WE KNOW WHEN and about 100 Metres out was steadied when crowded between these two runners and shifted in. About the 200 Metres, PEARL AND GOLD was steadied and shifted out when disappointed for running inside ALBELA. Just after the 200 Metres, PEARL AND GOLD was shifted out abruptly across the heels of ME AND YOU to find running and go forward. Also just after the 200 Metres, ILIKETOSMILE, which was giving ground, was steadied when tightened between BLESSINGS' PARTNER and MILLENNIUM DAWN.
