Racing Incident Report
FLIGHT OF FANCY left the gates awkwardly, shifted out and bumped FRAME'S PEOPLE. ARRIBA-ARRIBA and STINGER were slowly away. Just after straightening, CUPID was steadied and shifted out to find running, then after the 200 Metres was again steadied and shifted in to find running and continue going forward. In the early part of the Straight, EXCEL KID was steadied and shifted out when disappointed for running inside TAMBORA STAR. G Mossé (DIAMOND AND GOLD) said from an outside gate he rode along in the early stages to ensure he took up a position. He said DIAMOND AND GOLD travelled towards the front in the early stages although a little wide. He said along the back when the pressure was applied, DIAMOND AND GOLD got its head up, did not respond to his riding and over the concluding stages dropped right out. He was unable to put forward any real reason for the poor run. Before racing again, DIAMOND AND GOLD will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. DANDY BUNNY was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
