Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, TAMBORA STAR bounded in the air. On jumping, BILLION DELIGHT and FRAME'S PEOPLE bumped. After this FRAME'S PEOPLE shifted out and for a short distance was awkward on the heels of MASCOT TREASURE. Approaching the winning post the first time, FRUITFUL TRIP was steadied when tightened between TOP LIGHT which was racing tight inside TAMBORA STAR and INVENTOR which shifted out slightly. Just past the winning post the first time, TAMBORA STAR was checked when crowded between TOP LIGHT and GUSCOTT (K S Yu) which shifted in to be racing beside TOP LIGHT. The Stewards decided that no direct action would be taken, but K S Yu was severely reprimanded and told he must exercise far more care. At about the 600 Metres, MASCOT TREASURE was checked when crowded by GUSCOTT which was going forward and shifted in to be racing beside INVENTOR. K S Yu was reprimanded and told he must exercise far more care. For a short distance near the 500 Metres, PAR AVION was awkwardly placed on the heels of FRUITFUL TRIP. About the 200 Metres, PAR AVION was steadied and shifted in to avoid TAMBORA STAR. Just after the 200 Metres, FRUITFUL TRIP was steadied and shifted out when disappointed for running inside MASCOT TREASURE. COMMON PLACE was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. After the race, it was reported that INVENTOR had sustained a laceration to its near side hind heel.
