Racing Incident Report
When the gates opened, MY FRIENDS SAY, which was not standing well, came out awkwardly and as a consequence lost ground. ENERGETIC PRINCE jumped somewhat awkwardly. From an outside gate, BABY WAVE SUPREME was ridden along in an endeavour to go forward, was unable to do so and in the early stages was obliged to cover ground. Near the 1000 Metres, HEAVENLY WIND and HAPPY ECLIPSE raced tight inside FORTUNE SALLIAN which had a tendency to get its head on the side and shift in away from SPEEDY CHAMPION which was crossing towards a position near the front. For a short distance near the 700 Metres, ENERGETIC PRINCE raced tight inside HEAVENLY WIND. Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, HEADING TO WIN hung out badly. About the 200 Metres, HEAVENLY WIND and HAPPY ECLIPSE brushed. The performance of FREE AS THE WIND, which tailed off, was considered unacceptable. Before the horse can race again, it will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. AFICIONADO was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
