Racing Incident Report
Just after the start, CENTURY STAR became unbalanced when tightened for room between GOOD MAN and GOLDEN CHOICE which shifted in slightly away from GOLDEN SPIRIT. In the early stages, BLAZING BOB proved difficult to settle and several times threw its head about. At about the 800 Metres, GOLDEN CHOICE, which was inclined to be pulling, was steadied to avoid the heels of CONVERGENCE (E Legrix) which shifted in when barely clear. E Legrix was told to exercise more care. Near the 500 Metres, TRIUMPHANT SMILE threw its head up when awkwardly placed just inside the hindquarters of CENTURY STAR and tight on the outside of WINNINGCOMBINATION. For a short distance rounding the Home Turn, GOOD MESSAGE was held up behind BOBO DUCK and inside GOOD MAN. To obtain running after straightening, GOOD MESSAGE was shifted in. Rounding the turn and in the Straight, GOLDEN SPIRIT hung out. In the Straight, GOLDEN CHOICE hung in. About the 200 Metres, GOOD MAN was accidentally hit on the head by the whip of K S Yu (GOLDEN CHOICE).
