Racing Incident Report
SURELY jumped awkwardly. Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, HEADING TO WIN hung out. For some distance near the 400 Metres, SURELY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of ABSOLUTE and tight on the inside of HEADING TO WIN. On straightening, NEW CONCEPT was steadied and shifted out to avoid SURELY. For a short distance after the 200 Metres, BOLD DANCER was tight between KEY LARGO and HEAVENLY WIND. During the race, the bandage on the near side hind of HEAVENLY WIND loosened and trailed. D Whyte (GIVE TO THEE) explained at no stage of the race was the horse comfortable in tonight's conditions. GIVE TO THEE was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
