Racing Incident Report
When the gates opened, LION'S SHARE bounded in the air, shifted out and bumped BON BON. CHIRAG was slowly away. PEGASUS STAR left the gates awkwardly and just after the start was steadied when crowded for room between PROJECTVISION and LION'S SHARE which was taken in slightly by BON BON. In the early and middle stages, CRAIG'S PRIDE hung in and over the concluding stages was obliged to race wide. About the 1200 Metres, LUCKSWELL shifted out slightly to avoid the heels of PROJECTVISION, this caused some crowding to BON BON. About the 800 Metres, BON BON shifted out rather abruptly from behind LION'S SHARE, this caused some inconvenience to LOTUS SUPREME and also to CRAIG'S PRIDE which had been racing wide. After the 800 Metres, HONG KONG STALLION was steadied when crowded for room between CHIRAG and WILFRED'S NEW PET. In the early part of the Straight, LUCKSWELL was steadied and shifted in to obtain clear running. In the Straight, JAMIESON had a tendency to lay out.
