Racing Incident Report
S Dye (INTERVENE) was fined $1,000 for initially entering the incorrect starting stall. After being boxed, GOOD CHANCE became fractious, reared, dislodged its rider and broke though. GOOD CHANCE was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Before being permitted to race again, GOOD CHANCE will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial. S Dye (INTERVENE) said at no stage of the race did the horse travel comfortably. About the 300 Metres, EASY STAR was checked and shifted out when disappointed for running inside A RUN OF LUCK. Near the 200 Metres, GOLDEN AIR was steadied and shifted to the outside of FLYING FLYING to continue going forward. The performance of BOLD'N POWER, the last start winner, was considered unacceptable. Before BOLD'N POWER can race again, it will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. GOLDEN AIR was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
