Racing Incident Report

On jumping, SCHOOL DAYS was checked and BUCK'S FIZZ crowded for room between PROFIT ALL TIMES which shifted in slightly and LYPHARD'S LAD which shifted out slightly. CARRY-ON DREAMBOAT left the gates awkwardly and shifted in. Running to the 800 Metres, BUCK'S FIZZ was awkward just inside the heels of GLOBAL RUNNER, this caused some crowding to SCHOOL DAYS. About the 800 Metres, when properly cleared by GLOBAL RUNNER, BUCK'S FIZZ shifted out, this caused some inconvenience to WINNING YEARS. About the 500 Metres, GLOBAL RUNNER was steadied and shifted out to avoid the heels of LYPHARD'S LAD which was giving ground. When shifting, GLOBAL RUNNER caused some inconvenience to BUCK'S FIZZ and to WINNING YEARS. Rounding the turn and in the Straight, LYPHARD'S LAD hung out badly. About the 400 Metres, ME AND YOU was steadied and shifted to the outside of EMPIRE COURT to find running and endeavour to go forward. Just after the 200 Metres, STAR DRAGON was disappointed for running between FORTUNE ASSOCIATES and BUCK'S FIZZ. Shortly afterwards, STAR DRAGON was shifted out in an endeavour to improve between BUCK'S FIZZ and WINNING YEARS and again near the winning post was disappointed for running. In the Straight, BUCK'S FIZZ hung in. About right on the winning post, STAR DRAGON was hit under the jaw by the whip of A Marcus (WINNING YEARS). After the race, it was noted that BUCK'S FIZZ had sustained a laceration over its off side hind cannon.
