Racing Incident Report

After being boxed, SUPER BOLD RACER became fractious, reared and momentarily had its off side front leg over the adjoining partition. SUPER BOLD RACER was released from the gates, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who discussed the horse's condition with rider, A Starke, and it was then decided SUPER BOLD RACER was suitable to race. Mr Y O Wong, Trainer of SUPER BOLD RACER, was told if the horse performs similarly again, action may be taken against it. On jumping, LUCKY SUPREME knuckled badly, then throughout the race hung out. Also on jumping, GOLDEN BELL and WAVY WAVE bumped. On leaving the gates, CYBER WISDOM threw its head about, was then brushed by GOLDEN BELL which shifted out away from WAVY WAVE. In the early stages, SPLENDID STAR proved somewhat difficult to settle and in the middle stages had a tendency to lay out. In the early and middle stages, EASY WAY had a tendency to lay out. In the early part of the Straight, WAVY WAVE (Apprentice Y T Cheng) shifted out, this caused some inconvenience to SUNNY DAY. Apprentice Y T Cheng was advised to exercise far more care. About the 100 Metres, SUNNY DAY was steadied when crowded for room between WAVY WAVE which shifted in slightly and PRIME VAIN which shifted out slightly away from GOLDEN BELL. No action was taken.
