Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, ZINEDINE reared, bumped the inside of its gate, almost dislodging S King. On jumping, TRUST ME shifted out abruptly. As a consequence of this, FIELD'S WINNER was checked. For some distance just after the start, CENTURY STAR raced with its head up, proved difficult to settle. In the early stages, TIM'S TONIC over-raced, threw its head about, shifted a lot of ground, then shifted into a position behind SKYSTONE and as a consequence of this caused GOD'S WILL to be checked. Because of the circumstances, no action was taken. Near the 800 Metres, TIM'S TONIC, which was continuing to prove difficult to settle, bumped with DANRIVA. For a short distance near the 1200 Metres, FLEETING TIME was awkward just inside DANRIVA. As a consequence of this, DANRIVA shifted out and caused some inconvenience to TRUST ME. In the early part of the Straight, GREAT CHIEF hung out, this resulted in G Mossé shifting the whip into his left hand. About the 300 Metres, FLEETING TIME was steadied and shifted out abruptly to avoid TRUST ME. In the Straight, ZINEDINE shifted in. As a consequence of this, some inconvenience was caused to TRUST ME about the 200 Metres. In the run to the line, DANELAW hung in and proved difficult to ride out. TRUST ME was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
