Racing Incident Report

After arriving at the barriers, SUPER BOLD RACER, which had worked down hard was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. He had the horse trotted up, discussed its condition with the rider and then decided SUPER BOLD RACER was suitable to race. NEW PLANET jumped awkwardly and bumped the outside of its gate. ACCURACY left the gates awkwardly with its head up. Just after the start, SUPER BOLD RACER dipped. On jumping AMERICAN WIN knuckled. Near the 400 Metres, AMERICAN WIN was inconvenienced when QUICK STEP got its head on the side and hung in away from KOWLOON JAZZ. The occurrence was accidental. Near the 800 Metres, LIGHT MASTER shifted out from behind BACK SEAT DRIVER, as a consequence of this some inconvenience was caused to HUGE HOPE. In the early part of the straight, ACCURACY was steadied and shifted out abruptly across the heels of QUICK STEP to go forward. For some distance in the early part of the straight, TOPSPIN TOO was awkwardly placed behind SUPER BOLD RACER and tight inside BACK SEAT DRIVER. Before the 200 Metres, COUNTRY DRAGON was steadied when momentarily inconvenienced by INTEGRITY which shift in to go forward. Near the Winning Post, R Fradd (INTEGRITY) appeared to make a gesture of some kind toward Apprentice K C Tsang (MASCOT TREASURE). The Stewards intend to discuss this incident with R Fradd next Wednesday at Happy Valley.
