Racing Incident Report
KOWLOON'S BLESSING jumped awkwardly with its head up. For a short distance after the start, PO ON POWER and REPUTATION raced tight between ROMANTIC VENTURE which was being taken in slightly by RAIN WOOD LANE and KOWLOON'S BLESSING. Just before the winning post the first time, TAMBORA STAR was steadied and shifted out to avoid CITY FORTUNE (W M Lai) which shifted in when not quite clear. W M Lai was told he must exercise far more care. Turning out of the Straight the first time, PO ON POWER and RAIN WOOD LANE were unnecessarily tight for room between WINNING YEARS and TAMBORA STAR (D Whyte) which was endeavouring to shift in and race in a position closer to the rail. It was decided not to take any direct action, but D Whyte was severely reprimanded and told he is expected to show more regard than this for his fellow riders. In the Straight, WINNING YEARS hung in.
