Background:
Hiroyuki Uemura is a former jockey turned trainer. He started his riding career in 1992, riding his first winner within a month. His highlight as a jockey was success in the 2008 Sprinters Stakes aboard Sleepless Night. He retired from riding in 2014 and worked as an assistant to trainer Kaneo Ikezoe. He began training in 2018 and sent out his first runner in 2019. His breakthrough Group 1 win as a trainer came in the 2024 Osaka Hai with Bellagio Opera.
