5 6 WIN A DOZEN (CH262) O Doleuze TT Quick jump. Used his natural gate speed to challenge for an early lead. Raced 4-deep without cover the entire trip, stayed on strongly coming home.

9 2 SHAHJEE (M151) H W Lai B Slowly away, ridden hard at once and stayed in touch at midfield, lost cover at 800m and travelled 4-deep without cover to the straight. Pushed all out coming home and only weakened in the last 100m.

11 5 VINTAGE HUSSLER (CL266) B Prebble B Off a step slow, recovered immediately using his good early speed, disputed lead on the 2-path from 800m, led at 450m, kept on well under drive until the last 150m.
