4 9 BEAUTY SUCCESS (CL422) M Chadwick CP/TT Taken back from a wide gate, 10Ls or so away in run, aided by strong tempo, took inside runs approaching turn and made good ground late to share 4th.
4 10 BUCCANEER (CH214) M L Yeung B Took an ideal spot following pace trio 3-4Ls back, strong pace on to bend, kept on steadily without threatening and did enough to share frame.

9 7 ANCIENT KINGDOM (M210) Z Purton -- Drifted back from an awkward draw, nearly 10Ls away racing 2-3 wide in mid section, strong speed on helped, made some progress but unable to quicken, ground away.
10 1 GREAT ACHIEVEMENT (CD250) Y T Cheng TT Showed speed to position outside leader, worked a bit with good speed on, ridden along on bend, steadily gave ground from 300m.
