9 MOONWALK (CL083) W Pike -- Positive from outset, box seated in 1 out 1 back slot throughout, travelled well to bend, eased out and quickly put a break on rivals, ran away to win convincingly.
4 QUELLE SURPRISE (CL008) J Lloyd -- Angled into midfield from an awkward alley, tracked eventual winner throughout, improved wide on turning, kept going nicely in run to take a distant 2nd.
13 RARE TREASURE (CH150) H W Lai XB/TT Even getaway, settled behind pace group on fence 4Ls back, used nothing in run, worked into clear passing 300 M, stayed on well for a place.
12 ALL TIME HIGH (CG285) K L Chui B/XB/TT Showed usual speed, travelled nicely on leaders back, had a fair run despite even speed, right there turning, in mix for a place but lost out final 50 M.
7 GALLANT GALLOP (CL080) W M Lai B1/TT1 No speed from outset, settled in rear division 8Ls to 9Ls off speed, saved ground on rails on bend, made some ground final 200 M but never really likely.
11 NORDIC STAR (CH302) C K Tong TT Drifted back from a wide alley, shared rear 8 to 9Ls off speed in running line, set task when still well back to bend, made some late headway.
8 RIBOT LEGEND (CK030) M L Yeung -- Slowly away, got too far back as a result racing 6Ls or so from top end, hung in mid-section, didn't finish off as normally would.
5 VILASOL (CK303) Y T Cheng -- No early pace, settled 8Ls away 3 wide, well back last turning, closed steadily late making some progress final furlong.
10 MY TIME (CJ310) W C Marwing -- Plenty of early pace, went to front and controlled affairs throughout, challenged on turning in, soon overhauled passing 300 M, gradually faded.
3 LUCKY AMICI (CK177) J Victoire XB1/TT Slow into stride and soon at rear, best part of 9 to 10Ls off leaders throughout, still back there on rails turning, just passed tired runners late.
1 NUGGET WARRIOR (CK147) G Mosse -- Unbalanced early and got further back than intended, 7Ls away, 3 wide behind midfield, struggling on turn, didn't find and turned in a disappointing performance. (See Racing Incidents.)
14 FULL PACK (CJ312) K W Leung B Fair to begin, behind midfield 6Ls down on rails, few excuses to bend, plodded away in straight.
2 MERIDIAN PRIDE (CH057) Z Purton B/TT Broke nicely, rolled on to race outside leader, travelled strongly throughout, 1/2L down turning, found nothing when pressure applied and dropped out.
6 AMBITIOUS OWNER (CJ106) T H So B/XB/TT Slow out and checked early, posted 3 wide without cover throughout, used too much in mid-section, struggling bend, weakened easily.
