2 11 MY MEMORY (CK173) Y T Cheng -- Bounced out, led soon after, rolled along at even sections, still held a 1/2L advantage leaving bend, fought off immediate challenge but couldn't hold off rival 150 M.
3 1 MAELSTROM (CK370) O Doleuze -- Began with more purpose, box seated on leaders back throughout, did a bit of work on speed, right there turning, kept on soundly late to place.
4 7 MR CELERITY (CL003) G Cheyne -- Steadied early, got back from a wide alley, settled 7 to 8Ls back in rear division, set a task and came widest turning, made many lengths in straight to make frame. Useful debut.
5 3 ONE WEE ACORN (CK143) D Whyte -- Fair to begin, raced behind pace trio 4Ls away on rails, used little in run, improved turning, worked home soundly to just miss frame.
6 2 CAT STORM (CL082) M Chadwick TT1 Standard getaway, settled 6Ls away on fence, had an easy time throughout, saved ground on fence, closed off best of rest despite restricted room late to be nearest on line.
7 12 TYCOON TAYLOR (CH288) K W Leung B Out reasonably, positioned 4Ls off speed in front of midfield, enjoyed an easy run in running line, didn't find extra late and faded final 200 M.
8 4 CHINA LUJIA (CJ088) T H So B-/XB No early speed, drifted back to 2nd last 9 to 10Ls off pace, always well off leaders, 2nd last turning, made some minor headway late.
9 10 FLYING SUPREME (CK226) B Doyle CP Ridden up early, dropped into running line 5Ls off speed, no excuses in run, didn't let down as usual and peaked at 200 M, battling thereafter.
10 9 PACKING COMMANDER (CK384) B Prebble H1 Awkwardly away, soon at rear, best part of 10Ls away throughout, same margin down turning, made some late ground. (Bled both nostrils.)
11 5 CIRCUIT HERO (CG304) C K Tong B/TT Well enough away, drifted back to race 6Ls of so away, 3 wide without cover throughout, faded out after a hard run.
12 6 GOOD LUCK WIN (CK004) H W Lai B/XB/TT Jumped well, pressed on to apply pressure to leader, challenged throughout, 1/2L down on turn, gave in cheaply at business end. (See Racing Incidents.)
