From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event, rider stated that his mount, which was having its first race start, raced greenly throughout the event. He said in the Home Straight his mount lay in and was reluctant to improve between two runners near the 250M. He added he then became held up behind a runner between the 200M and the 100M before being able to obtain clear running to the outside of that runner where it finished the race off well - Race 508.

He added in the Home Straight his mount responded only fairly to his riding. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 510.

9 K116  TOP THRONE  09/03/2025   486  TOP THRONE (K116) in the early stages raced keenly as its rider endeavoured to obtain cover. Then was unable to obtain cover and raced wide and without cover for the majority of event - Race 486.
10 J475  PRECIOUS HILL  19/02/2025   442  PRECIOUS HILL (J475) bumped after travelling a short distance. After the event, rider stated that his mount raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and lay out making the Home Turn before giving ground in the Home Straight. He added, in his opinion, he felt there may be something amiss with his mount. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 442.

12 J492  SHINY RAPIDASH  15/03/2025   508  SHINY RAPIDASH (J492) on jumping knuckled over and became unbalanced. After the event, rider reported that the instructions were to settle where comfortable. He said after commencing well and when caught wide in the early stages he elected to allow his mount to stride forward and lead to avoid covering additional ground. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued and stated that the horse had been slow out of the starting gates at its previous race starts and was able to take up a more forward position when it jumped well - Race 508.
