After the race, rider reported that his mount did not feel right in its action in the early stages or the latter stages of the race and for that reason his mount was uncompetitive and tailed out. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed satisfactorily in a barrier trial around a bend in Hong Kong and passed an official vet exam which must include additional diagnostic assessments - Race 084.

2 J075  KA YING GENERATION  06/10/2024   84  KA YING GENERATION (J075) after the race, rider reported that from a wide barrier his mount was unable to show sufficient speed to take up a more forward position. Trainer confirmed that the pre-race plan was to endeavour to ride the horse in a midfield position, but given the quick tempo in the early stages, the horse was unable to show the necessary speed, particularly coming back in distance from 2400M to 1650M in the event. He also added it was the horse’s first start on the All Weather track. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 084.
