Racing Incident Report

CLEMENT LEGEND was slow to begin.
PENZANCE began very awkwardly and shifted out, resulting in THE JOY OF GIVING being crowded for room inside AEROLUMINANCE which became unbalanced after being bumped on the hindquarters by THE JOY OF GIVING.
Shortly after the start, FRUITFUL LIFE shifted out and bumped FAITHFUL BOY.
From wide barriers, BEST JADE TRIUMPH and LOADED were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 1600 Metres, CLEMENT LEGEND was momentarily crowded for room inside THE JOY OF GIVING (O Doleuze) which shifted in. O Doleuze was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground.
In the middle stages, FAITHFUL BOY travelled keenly in the lead.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, CLEMENT LEGEND was momentarily steadied away from the heels of SWEET BEAN which was steadied after attempting to improve into tight running between THE JOY OF GIVING and WEALTHY FORTUNE which got its head on the side and lay in.
Close to the finishing line, FAITHFUL BOY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CELEBRATION.
In the Straight, JOLLY AMBER shifted ground on a number of occasions under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of SWEET BEAN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
JOLLY AMBER and AEROLUMINANCE were sent for sampling.
<24/5/2018 Additional Veterinary Report>The Veterinary Officer reported that FRUITFUL LIFE was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, FRUITFUL LIFE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
