Racing Incident Report

DON WONGCHOY began only fairly.
SEVEN LUCK and FUNNY BUDDIES bumped shortly after the start due to both horses shifting ground. After this, FUNNY BUDDIES lay in, resulting in SEVEN LUCK being crowded for room outside FREE NOVEMBER.
From the outside barriers, INTELLECTUAL GLIDE, BRIGHT STAR, GREAT SPEED and BLISS CARTEL were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
FUNNY BUDDIES lay out making the first turn after the 1000 Metres.
Near the 550 Metres, SEVEN LUCK raced tight inside FUNNY BUDDIES which got its head on the side and lay in.
After the 550 Metres, ALL TOGETHER was left racing wide and without cover.
At the entrance to the Straight, NATURAL TEAM was awkwardly placed inside the heels of ALL TOGETHER.
Near the 350 Metres, INTELLECTUAL GLIDE raced tight inside BLISS CARTEL.
Passing the 300 Metres, SEVEN LUCK was shifted to the inside of WINNING BOY to obtain clear running.
A veterinary inspection of DON WONGCHOY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of SEVEN LUCK immediately following the race confirmed the horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
SEVEN LUCK, FUNNY BUDDIES and BLISS CARTEL were sent for sampling.
<8/6/2017 Additional Veterinary Report>SEVEN LUCK, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was confirmed to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. SEVEN LUCK was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C H Yip this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, SEVEN LUCK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
