Racing Incident Report

On arrival at the Start, it was noted that PACKING STARCRAFT had lost its left front plate. After this plate was refitted, PACKING STARCRAFT was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
ELITE EXPRESS was slow to begin.
From wide barriers, GREAT TOPLIGHT, PENANG HALL and WINNER ST PAUL’S were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the 1000 Metres, WINGOLD was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 900 Metres, WIN FOR CHARITY was awkwardly placed behind PENNY LANE when travelling keenly.
For some distance after the 800 Metres, FIVE STARS AGENT was very awkwardly placed close to the heels of HALL OF FAME.
Also for some distance after the 800 Metres, WINGOLD got its head on the side and lay out.
At the 400 Metres, GREAT TOPLIGHT was bumped and taken wider by PENANG HALL which, when shifting to the outside of DESTIN, was required to shift out further when DESTIN shifted out away from SILVERFIELD.
Approaching the 200 Metres, GREAT TOPLIGHT was again shifted out away from the heels of PENANG HALL.
Approaching the 50 Metres, PENANG HALL was inconvenienced when SILVERFIELD drifted out under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of DESTIN and HALL OF FAME immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUPER TALENT, SILVERFIELD and PENNY LANE were sent for sampling.
