Racing Incident Report
Soon after the start, OPTIMISM was steadied when crowded for room between NOVEL START and MIGHTY GAINS which shifted out.
INTELLECTUAL GLIDE jumped in at the start and made contact with PROPEL REPEL.
From wide barriers, FORMULA GALORE and GREAT SPEED were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
KING OF SMARTS lost its left hind plate near the 1100 Metres.
INTELLECTUAL GLIDE travelled very keenly in the early and middle stages and consequently was obliged to travel wide and without cover throughout the event.
After the 250 Metres, NOVEL START and INTELLECTUAL GLIDE bumped on several occasions as they were giving ground.
Close to the finishing line, MIGHTY GAINS raced in restricted room to the inside of GIDDY GIDDY (O Doleuze) which shifted in under pressure. O Doleuze was advised to make more effort to keep his mounts straight.
GREAT SPEED, SHINING CHAMPION and FORMULA GALORE were sent for sampling.
