Racing Incident Report

VITAL PRINCE proved difficult to load. Before being allowed to race again, VITAL PRINCE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.
VITAL PRINCE and PEPPERMINT were crowded for room at the start between FLYING UNICORN and FLYING ELITE which shifted out. In this incident, FLYING UNICORN became unbalanced after being bumped by PEPPERMINT. A short distance later, FLYING UNICORN and SUPREME ESSENCE made contact and became unbalanced after SUPREME ESSENCE shifted in after being bumped by DRAGON GLORY.
From the outside barrier, STEP FASTER was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Passing the 1300 Metres, SPINNING DANCER was steadied away from the heels of SMART BALL (M Chadwick) which shifted in when not properly clear. M Chadwick was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground in future.
Over the concluding stages, C Y Ho (PEPPERMINT) dropped his right rein.
After the race, T Berry (DRAGON GLORY) reported that his mount shortened stride after the 600 Metres and in the Straight gave ground abruptly. A veterinary inspection of DRAGON GLORY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

JAZZY FEELING, FLYING ELITE and SUPREME ESSENCE were sent for sampling.
